YLEn televisiouutiset kertoi talvella 2011 Etelä-Savon Mäntyharjun kunnan sähkönjakelun ongelmista. Ilman sähköä oli jopa 30 000 taloutta. Ainoastaan terveyskeskus säästyi ongelmilta, koska olivat juuri hankkineet Northern Automation Oy:n varavoimalan.
